For those citizens in need, Danby has a food bank available.  The food bank is located within the Town Office, 130 Brook Road, and open the same hours.  Our only request is that you use it to 'help get by' and limit visits to once per month.  For those interested in donating, non-perishable items are best (canned vegetables and fruits, bottled drinks not requiring refrigeration, boxed goods including cereal and pasta; food for pets and monetary donations are also accepted).  Thank you for your interest in this important town resource.
